Latest In Development Platforms

Hourglass Systems uses the latest technologies available for developing AdminDirect.  As newer versions of our development platforms become available, we update to these versions as soon as its prudent to do so.  Hourglass Systems has taken this approach so that AdminDirect never is in a position where its code base is outdated or on a platform not readily supported.  Hourglass Systems is currently using Microsoft’s  Visual Studio.Net 2005 development platform with programming controls from Infragistics and Data Dynamics.

SQL Database

Hourglass Systems uses SQL Server from Microsoft as its database layer.  The scalability, speed, and excellent support available with SQL Server provides AdminDirect and our clients a solid foundation for data storage and retrieval.

Internet Based Systems Access

All modules in AdminDirect use secure Internet connections to access information from Hourglass Systems’ datacenter.  AdminDirect’s modules use a variety of Internet connection options including web browser, thin-client, and web services.
